The History behind River City Early Learning Center...

 

The director, Jessica was previously an assistant director under The Phoenix Schools for a number of years until she was promoted to director of this location which is now formally The Phoenix Schools - Laguna West.  She successfully ran the school with positive results and the opportunity presented itself to take ownership over the school.  Together with her husband Robb, River City Learning Company, Inc. was born and River City Early Learning Center would be the first center for the company.

Jessica has a long history in the Early Childhood Education field beginning in 2001.  Her educational background includes a B.S. in Applied Management, an A.A. in Liberal Studies and a Site Supervisor Permit with the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.  She and her husband have two wonderful boys who have been at alongside her during her years in the field.  It was always important to Jessica work at a center where she felt comfortable for her own children.  High quality child care and preschool is of upmost importance to her, as it also affected the start of her own children's educational foundation.

Jessica and Robb believe River City Early Learning Center will be a part of the community in a positive way by educating children in a fun, positive and nurturing way that doesn't interrupt the natural curiosity of children.  Giving back to the community is important as well and partnering with organizations to give back positively are part of our core values.
